When a signal arrives, Relay routes it to the people on call, gives them the context to respond, and keeps customers and colleagues informed.
Run on-call across time zones
Run layered rotations in local time across regions. Responders can swap shifts, while targeted overrides handle gaps without rebuilding the schedule.
Control the signal flow
Route Datadog monitors and generic webhooks by service, with repeat events kept together. Webhooks can also create maintenance windows, with held Signals visible while new incident work waits.
Respond in Slack or mobile
Configure /incident, acknowledge from a DM, and keep threads or dedicated channels current through automation. On mobile, push and critical alerts reach responders while quiet hours limit interruptions and readiness checks verify the path.
Keep stakeholders informed
Publish branded status pages for incidents and maintenance, then share updates through subscriptions, feeds, embeds, or the API. Internal stakeholders can stay informed as Viewers without using a purchased seat.
